I believe that the most flattering photos are the ones where the subjects have big, natural smiles and are genuinely having a good time. I take a one-on-one approach with my photoshoots to make you feel the most comfortable and like yourself. In addition to providing an upbeat and relaxing atmosphere, I make sure that my clients are happy with their photos throughout the shoot and in the retouching process.
It's rainy or windy? No worries. I won't pretend to magically "fix the lighting" or make the sun suddenly appear. But your photos, even if taken on these days, are going to be memorable. Those rolling, dark rain clouds will mean something special every time you look back at them. Life isn't perfect, I don't want my photos to pretend it is either. However, what will be perfect are the memories and sentiments captured in your photos.
Years from now, you'll flip through old photos and reminisce about "the good old days". Sometimes an iPhone shot will suffice. Other times, making sure that memory is captured in its best possible light (with all it's energy, love, and life) is what you truly need to remember. It's not always going to be one or the other. I work with my couples to document their wedding day in both photos and video. I provide both an album of photos and a short highlight film so you can forever be transported back to the best day of your life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
This is a very common question from clients booking couple and senior sessions. Simple clothing choices are best for creating timeless portraits that aren’t easily dated. I suggest solid colors, avoiding busy patterns, stripes, or logos/words. Bold logos and cartoon characters are cute for playtime but can look out of place for your portraits. Jeans, sundresses, khakis are classics and photograph well. I especially like guys in jeans and plains tees or polos, and girls in simple dresses, tunics, and leggings. Accessories can add a great amount of visual interest to your photos. Think hats, scarves, belts, and layers.
I suggest bringing a few outfits that you are considering and allow me to help you make the final choice on what would best suit the look and feel you are going for in your photographs.

I guarantee a 72-hour photo return time because I know how excited you'll be to check out your photos! Expect 4-6 weeks for weddings.

Yes! When you inquire I'll send a detailed breakdown of the packages I offer and then work with you to craft the perfect package for your special day.
CAN WE GET PRINTS OR PHOTO ALBUMS?
Yes, the online platform I use to return all the edited photos allows you to easily design your photos into any product you'd like!
HOW DO WE BOOK?
To make things official I require a signed contract and 50% retainer. Email me or use the contact form and we can get the ball rolling. I can’t wait to hear about everything!
WHEN DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH YOUR SESSIONS?
For senior, family, and engagement sessions, I prefer to hold these sessions when the light is at its best. This is typically an hour or two before sunset and just after sunrise. We try to avoid midday sessions as the sun is bright and high in the sky causing subjects to squint.
WHERE DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH YOUR SESSIONS?
I typically photograph sessions outdoors in Boulder, Colorado. However, I am more than willing to travel to you for your sessions. If you have a perfect place in mind, I'll meet you there!
WE'RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, IS THAT OKAY?
Of course, not everyone likes standing in front of a camera. My job is to make you feel at ease to help capture the best you. Most of the time you won't even know I'm there, allowing you to relax and allow us to make the photos you deserve.
WHAT IS HYBRID COVERAGE?
Hybrid coverage is a mix of photo and video coverage. A lot of couples want their day documented in both ways, and doing hybrid coverage allows me to offer this option to my clients.
How does it work? I take pictures throughout the day, but also take short film clips which I stitch together into a short 2-3 minute highlight reel with music.
Now my clients don't have to choose between which style of coverage they want at their wedding or pay twice the amount to hire two people instead of one. Inquire about adding a highlight video coverage to you wedding day!
